Danica Bargas · Assistant Lodge/Daycamp Manager

Danica grew up in central California before moving to Des Moines with her fiancé in 2017. She grew up surrounded by dogs, and animals of all kinds, which sparked her love and passion for all animals at a young age. After adopting the first dog of her own, a Boxer named Zoey, she fell in love with the breed and all things to do with dog training. As Daycamp Assistant Manager, she enjoys working with dogs of all sizes, but finds teaching and training the rambunctious dogs to be the most rewarding. At home, Danica has two dogs, Thor, a black lab mix, and Molly, a miniature dachshund, as well as two snakes and two guinea pigs. She has worked in almost every department in the facility, including lodging, daycamp, services, and even some grooming!
