Our dog Jake has stayed at Dogwoods many times. When we pick him up he’s always happy, clean, and looks like he’s had a great time. We feel confident when leaving him there, that he’s well taken care of.
Amanda grew up Colorado Springs and was always surrounded by rescue dogs of all shapes and sizes. So, when she moved to Iowa in 2018, it was an easy choice to join the Dogwoods Lodge Team. While she originally started in Lodging and Daycamp working one-on-one with the dogs, she switched to Customer Service in 2021 to be able to assist both the canines and the clients! It was this position that helped spur her interest in the retail management position. When Amanda is not working, she spends most of her time crocheting, writing, and enjoying all the time she can with her old chihuahua mix, Gracie, at home.
